IADA is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), one of the legal forms of being a charity (registration number: 1167033). Our charitable objective is to provide a way for disabled people to to train their own dogs to the Recognised Assistance Dog standard. Being disabled comes with a lot of additional financial expense, and so we wish to charge the smallest fees we possibly can to the people wishing to have their dogs trained through IADA. This means that we rely on fundraising and public support to meet most of our operating costs.
Sponsor us via Direct Debit:
You can support us by making a Direct Debit payment via this link.
Clothes and accessories on CafePress:
We have a shop on CafePress, which contains various items adorned with our logo, which also raise awareness of our work.
Do you work in a retail environment?
You can order an IADA “Assistance Dogs Welcome” sticker for shop doors and windows. The stickers are printed by CafePress on demand, and do not fade or bleed in sun or rain. If you do not allow pet dogs at all in the workplace, you can cover up the additional wording giving Assistance Dogs priority.
If your company has a webpage detailing access information for disabled people with Assistance Dogs, you could provide a link to our What are Assistance Dogs? page there.
We have a printable IADA donation box that you can cut out, glue together, and pay-in or post to us later. Click here to download the donation box template.
Contact us after downloading your box template, and we will send you a Giro slip to pay in the collected money. If it’s easier, you can contact us and we can post you a printed box along with the Giro slip.
Give as you Live:
You can shop at your normal online retailers through Give as you Live, and earn donations for IADA at the same time. Switching something like an insurance policy or broadband this way could give as much as £40 to IADA at no cost to yourself!
Use IADA’s Everyclick page to make searches, and help raise donations. You could even set it as your browser homepage!
You may choose to leave a percentage of your Will to us, after your friends and family, of course! You just need to include our name and charity number.
Use the form below to apply to be a volunteer. We need people all around England to help up increase the reach of the charity’s work.
